You’re clenching on really tight…what are you afraid of?
My heart is tender right now. I'm living inside a season of slow, layered grief.
Some mornings, my little bunny in a coffee mug feels like my only companion. All I want is to lay on my back and watch the sunlight shift across the palm trees.

Feelings are pressing against my inner walls. They want to flow. But first, we have to find them.
The feelings I most need to feel are shy. They sit deep behind the organs in my belly and inside the chambers of my heart.
Parts hide in the folds of my fascia, afraid of being found, afraid of their own fullness, afraid they’re too much or not enough.
Part are afraid that if they are finally felt, they won’t exist anymore. Does releasing a feeling mean I’ll lose this part of me?
How can I release something if I’m not even holding it in my hands?
So, I listen in.
Softly.
Sweetly.
These parts are frightened adorable inner creatures I love.
They come close when they sense it’s safe. They tiptoe out of the darkness to sit close to my warmth when they realize I’m not going to shame them. They curl up in my lap and drop some heavy tears.
They need to hear it’s all okay.
You can do this too.
Find your feeling.
Focus on it.
The feeling wells up.
The part steps into sight.
Clarity emerges in stillness.

Let’s take a VERY deep breath together.
Bend your body in half so the tension in your tissues, wiggles free.
Let your shell crack so the life waters can spill out.
Remove the debris
so messages from your core
can float smoothly
through your bloodstream
into your brilliant
crystal clear mind.
Tucked inside your heart there is a a tender part of you — peaking its cute little head out, wondering if you’re going to finally going to be kind enough to listen.
Are you ready to say hello?
